After completing Western Engineering s Common First Year, you can enrol in the Mechanical Engineering program. Courses are designed to provide you with a strong knowledge base in the core areas of mechanical engineering. In fourth year, you will complete a major Mechanical Engineering Design Project, working closely with faculty members and industry partners. This capstone course is an opportunity for students to address real-world design problems using the concepts and practices they have learned. Admission to the program is competitive and limited. Upon completion of the program students will receive two degrees: a BA in Honors Business Administration and a BESc degree.
Three distinct A-Level (or four distinct AS-Level) traditional academic subjects with grades of A and/or B, GCSE/IGCSE (O-Level) results, IB of 28 including points awarded for the Extended Essay and Theory of Knowledge, TOEFL ibT of 83 with no score below 20, PTE of 58 no score less than 56, MELAB of 80 with no score less than 78, IELTS Academic of 6.5 with no part less than 6.0, CAN Test of 4.0, CAEL of 60, a weighted average (YWA) of 78% in each year
