After completing Western Engineering s Common First Year, you can enrol in the Mechatronic Systems Engineering program. Throughout the program, you take core courses in Electrical and Computer Engineering (including basic circuit theory, computer design, software design, embedded computing and control systems) as well as core courses in Mechanical and Materials Engineering (including dynamics, material properties, machine design, and thermodynamics). Admission to the program is competitive and limited. Upon completion of the program students will receive two degrees: a BA in Honors Business Administration and a BESc degree.

Three distinct A-Level (or four distinct AS-Level) traditional academic subjects with grades of A and/or B, GCSE/IGCSE (O-Level) results, IB of 28 including points awarded for the Extended Essay and Theory of Knowledge, TOEFL ibT of 83 with no score below 20, PTE of 58 no score less than 56, MELAB of 80 with no score less than 78, IELTS Academic of 6.5 with no part less than 6.0, CAN Test of 4.0, CAEL of 60, a weighted average (YWA) of 78% in each year
