Program Overview

French (Arts): Presentation of a global overview of the French-language literature, its issues and the major concerns that arise. Introduction to the main principles of literary reading and the use of the main tools of consultation and research. Students wishing to pursue their specialization studies in two distinct fields may enroll in two departments of the Faculty of Arts (see the section of the Faculty of Arts under the headings Overview of Programs Offered and Joint Honors Programs ). These students should meet with a counselor in each of the two departments concerned, to establish their choice of courses and formulate their interdisciplinary research project, if any.
