The BSc Mathematics and Economics is a joint degree programme where students study roughly equal amounts of both subjects over their three years.
A level: grades A* A A, with A* in Mathematics. Further Mathematics A level is highly recommended. Students not taking Further Mathematics to A level will normally be required to achieve grade A in Further Mathematics AS level in addition to A* (Mathematics) A A at A level, International Baccalaureate: Diploma with 38 points including 7 6 6 at Higher level, with 7 in Mathematics, A level Mathematics with grade A*, or International Baccalaureate Diploma with 7 in Higher level Mathematics (or equivalent), Personal Statement, GCSE English Language: Grade B or better, International English Language Testing Service (IELTS) Academic: A score of 7.0 in all four components (in one exam sitting only), Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic: A score of 65 in all four components (in one exam sitting only), TOEFL IBT (Internet based test): At least 107 overall with a minimum of 25 in each of the four components (in one exam sitting only), Trinity ISE (revised test): Level III overall with distinction in all components
