For the PhD component of the dual degree program, our PhD program is part of a program called the Program in Biomedical Sciences (PiBS). This interdisciplinary umbrella program incorporates didactic coursework and biomedical research to prepare our graduates for career advancement. Our Foundations in Biomedical Sciences (FiBS) and Professional Development and Mentoring curricula are integrated into this program. In addition to the didactic coursework, students rotate in a number of research laboratories, enabling the selection of a dissertation research laboratory.
Graduated from a 4 year U.S. or Canadian college/university, Minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.0, 2 semesters each of the following premedical coursework (each with lab):General Chemistry,General Biology,Organic Chemistry,Physics, MCAT score (50th percentile or higher) or,GRE scores (70th percentile or higher); 3 letters of recommendation (at least 1 from a science faculty member), Personal statement, Resume or CV highlighting your work and/or research experiences, TOEFL pbt- 600 or higher, IELTS Academic: 7.0
