2 Years Distance Learning Foundation-program Program
In the Non-Destructive Testing FdSc course, the initial year emphasizes the essentials of NDT, including material properties, mathematics, and electronics. Additionally, you will gain important transferable skills such as report writing and interview techniques.
The second year extends your understanding by exploring the practical applications of NDT, including methods such as dye penetration, magnetic particles, eddy current, ultrasonic, radiographic techniques, and manufacturing processes. You will also learn about quality assessment techniques that ensure quality assurance in NDT and evaluate the effectiveness of tools used in design.
The course is structured using a modular approach through distance learning, which provides the convenience of studying at your own pace. You may select the modules you want to study, either full-time or part-time, and even take a module as a sampler to assess whether the entire course suits you or to specialize in a particular area.
Assessment of modules is based solely on coursework.
This course is specifically tailored for individuals already working in the NDT industry, and we do not require any formal qualifications.
