The Foundation Year in Media is delivered using a blended teaching approach by the same lecturers who teach our degree courses. You will participate in online seminars, webinars, and virtual lectures, where student interaction and co-creation are utilized to facilitate learning. Our teaching is focused on utilizing collaborative online tools for creative media production, and you will learn through carefully curated online materials and specialists. Essentially, you will have the opportunity to practice and apply what you have learned during both synchronous and asynchronous online activities.
We actively encourage you to participate in events to feel connected to the Middlesex community. With the support of former Media Foundation Year students, we regularly organize social gatherings where you can interact with one another and share your experiences. You will have opportunities to collaborate with other students across different degree programs on various projects. Additionally, every year we offer opportunities for you to work on live briefs designed by professionals in their respective fields.
A Levels DEE/CD - DDE/CC A combination of A-Level, BTEC and other accepted qualifications that total 56 -64 UCAS Tariff points. You must have competence in English language to study with us. The most commonly accepted evidence of English language ability is IELTS 6.0 (with minimum 5.5 in all components).
