Do you want to understand people Do you find yourself saying, Why did they do that Do you want to unlock the mysteries of the mind and learn to help others Psychology is the scientific study of behaviour, cognition, and emotions. We examine psychological issues at multiple levels of analysis; from the neuronal level to the broad societal context.The Psychology program in the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences offers a major and a minor and also three joint majors. You can start this program at the Surrey campus. This program explores relationships between the study of criminology and psychology. Joint major students (or prospective students) are encouraged to see advisors in both departments.
Competence in Quantitative and Analytical skills, a minimum of 50% in Senior Mathematics for admission (based on a 35% pass scale), All India Senior School Certificate / Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) / India School Certificate (12 year), transcript which includes interim standard XII level marks, TOEFL iBT of 88 with 20 in each of the four components , IELTS of 6.5 with no part less than 6.0, CAEL of 70, PTE Academic with an overall score of 65, and a minimum score of 60 in the Communicative Skills, including: Listening, Reading, Speaking, Writing, each lower division required course in mathematics and statistics, or its equivalent, with a minimum C+ grade, ACMA 101 and ACMA 210 with a minimum grade of C- and have a cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of at least 2.25
