BA Hons Creative Writing and History

This Joint Honours degree provides you with exciting opportunities to combine very different types of learning. The academic investigation of the processes and practices by which we understand historical events and contexts and a practice-based enquiry into writing itself. Creative Writing aims to nurture your confidence as a writer and to support your development as a critical and skilful analyst of writing, whilst developing your commercial practice (writing for magazines, reviewing, scriptwriting, editing) and understanding of the publishing industry.
