The Master of Architecture focuses on architectural design and practice. Upon completion of this course, you can seek employment in private architectural firms working on residential, commercial and institutional projects or in government departments assisting in the development of major projects. Architecture is a creative and exciting design-based profession concerned with virtually all aspects of the built environment. It combines art, science and technology with business, social and environmental concerns.

This program has a core of design studios leading to a research thesis. Architectural design is conceived in broad terms as the creative invention of architectural futures, integrating aesthetic, technological, programmatic, environmental and social issues in the production of the built environment. Once you have completed the program you can go on to work as an architect in private firms or government departments, or set up your own practice working on residential, commercial and institutional projects.
