The International Baccalaureate (IB) is a global education framework designed to provide high quality education and promote international mindedness, and has been adopted by thousands of schools across Australia and overseas. Flinders University offers postgraduate programs that enhance your teaching in International Baccalaureate schools, and was the first tertiary institution in the world to be accredited to offer a postgraduate award for school educators teaching in the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Program (IBMYP). The Master of Education (IB) is designed for experienced International Baccalaureate (IB) teachers, educators in positions of leadership in IB schools, or educators in IB schools aspiring to such a position. The course aims for you to critically engage with relevant literature and your own practice with regard to international education and the IB.
