RMIT s Master of Teaching Practice (Secondary Education) is designed for graduates from any discipline who now wish to teach in secondary schools. Over the course of your studies you ll build the practical and technological skills you need to become a teacher and develop a deep theoretical understanding of how students learn. This master qualification emphasises industry experience and theoretical understanding, and features guidance from academic professionals to give you the skills you need to make an impact on the lives of your students.
You must have successfully completed an Australian bachelor degree (or equivalent overseas qualfication) with a minimum grade point average of 2.5 (out of 4.0), that includes a major in a specialist area and a sub-major in a second specialist area; IELTS academic: Speaking - 8.0, Writing - 7.0, Reading - 7.0, Listening - 8.0 and Overall - 7.5.
