Program Overview

Flinders University s cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT) programs provide you with clinical competencies and research skills in CBT for high prevalence psychological disorders. You will gain clinical training opportunities through industry practicums modelled around a clinical supervision framework. Competency-based assessment programs, seminars and workshops are delivered by respected and recognised clinical and research academics, and guest lecturers who are experts in CBT. You will have the opportunity to develop knowledge in areas such as comorbid mental health disorders, high prevalence psychological disorders, and gambling disorders, and skills in areas such as behavioural activation, and motivational interviewing.
