Program Overview

Both specialisations offered will provide graduates with a suitable background and generalist qualification for a career in public health research or practice. The course provides a foundation in the research discipline of epidemiology, biostatistics, qualitative research methods, health economics and health promotion, as well as the broader social context in which public health programs are planned, delivered and evaluated. It can also provide an opportunity for the student to undertake a period of supervised practice within a public health context.
