Program Overview

This program allows you to construct a course of study with a strong global and international focus, taught by leading academics and practitioners from Australia, Asia, Europe and the USA. It aims to prepare you to work in a global legal economy even if you don't necessarily wish to practise exclusively in a commercial environment. Subjects will focus on areas of global interest, including international business and arbitration law, USA business and corporations' law, intellectual property law and Asian and European business law; but may also include subjects in alternative dispute resolution, comparative legal traditions, international criminal law and public interest law.

Additional Information & Requirements

JD or a bachelor honours degree in Law, or an equivalent qualification; or, A bachelor degree in Law (or equivalent) plus either a graduate diploma in Law, a graduate certificate in Law, or an equivalent postgraduate qualification; or A bachelor degree in Law (or equivalent) plus sufficient relevant work-based or other learning that, in the opinion of the School, constitutes the equivalent of one of the above qualifications; or A bachelor degree in Law (or equivalent) plus admission to practice as an Australian lawyer (or international equivalent),IELTS (Academic) score of 6.5 with no individual band score less than 6.0, TOEFL iBT of 79 with 13 in Reading, 12 in Listening, 18 in Speaking and 21 in Writing, PTE Academic of 58 with no communicative skill score less than 50, CAE of 176 with no less than 169 in any component, CPE of 169 with no less than 169 in any component
