Program Overview

Taught by a team of international experts, you will develop a sound understanding of the theory and practice of international law and how international institutions work. The course is available to law and non-law graduates and is suited to current law practitioners and those pursuing a career relevant to international law in government, non-government, not for profit and private institutions. Study begins with core units in the foundations of international law, theory, method and contemporary issues, as well as international foundations of public international law. You can then specialise by electing units from areas such as criminal, human rights, environmental, oil and gas, and World Trade Organization law, as well as electing a research option which will provide a pathway to further studies.
