The Master of Research at the University of Southern Queensland (UniSQ) is a research-focused postgraduate degree designed to develop advanced research knowledge, skills and independent research capability. Students undertake supervised research in a selected field and produce a substantial research thesis.

Curriculum Structure:

Year 1: Develops research skills through research methods, literature review, research planning and supervised investigation in the chosen field. Students establish their research topic and commence their research project.

Year 2: Focuses on completing the research project through data collection, analysis and interpretation, followed by preparation and submission of the final research thesis.
