Year 1:
Students develop the theoretical and clinical foundations of audiology through areas such as Clinical Audiology, Person and Family-Centred Audiology, Paediatric Audiology, and Interprofessional Community Healthcare. They build knowledge of hearing assessment, diagnosis, rehabilitation, communication disorders and patient-centred care while beginning supervised practical training.
Year 2:
Students advance their clinical and professional skills through more complex audiology practice, specialised clinical education and research, applying their knowledge across hospitals, private clinics, educational facilities and community settings. The program includes more than 250 hours of supervised clinical placements, allowing students to develop hands-on expertise and prepare for professional audiology practice.
Focus Areas: Clinical practice, pediatric audiology, hearing aids, cochlear implants, research methodologies.
Learning Outcomes: Proficient assessment and diagnosis of hearing disorders, effective management of hearing loss, application of evidence-based practices, and development of patient-centered care strategies.

Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 4.0/7.0; the 2023 offer cut-off was 4.25.
Qualifications older than 10 years require recent postgraduate study or at least one semester of approved university-level study.
Entry is competitive with limited places. Eligible Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander applicants meeting the minimum requirements will be offered a place, subject to providing status evidence.
