It is oriented towards cognitive-behavioural psychology and you'll be trained and expected to work according to the scientist-professional model. RMIT provides training in clinical psychology and has research expertise in the areas of clinical and health psychology, behavioural neuroscience, lifespan developmental psychology, and cross-cultural psychology. New areas of research include chronic disease and the ageing population.

Additional Information & Requirements

You must have successfully completed an Australian Bachelor Degree (or equivalent overseas qualification) and a fourth year of study in psychology (Honours or Graduate Diploma in Psychology) approved by Australian Psychology Accreditation Council (APAC) with a minimum of 75% average; You must be eligible to apply for a Working with Children Check and register as a provisional psychologist with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA); 2 Referee reports; Shortlisted candidate will be required to attend an interview; IELTS (Academic): minimum overall band of 8.0 (with no individual band below 8.0.).
