Industrial and Organisational Psychology is a specialist area that applies psychological knowledge and skills to workplaces with the aim of improving organisational effectiveness and the quality of work life. The specialty focuses on deriving principles of individual, group and organisational behaviour and applying this knowledge to the solution of problems at work. This two-year course includes nine coursework units, a research project, and 1000 hours of practical placement spread over three different settings.

To be considered for admission to this course an applicant must have an accredited bachelor's honours degree in psychology with an upper second class Honours (2A), or an equivalent qualification as recognised by UWA, Applicants must be eligible for provisional registration as a psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia, which includes meeting the Board's English language registration standard, English language competence; Test scores: TOEFL, IELTS, PTE, CAE
