Additional Information & Requirements

A bachelor degree requiring at least four years of full-time study in a relevant discipline, awarded with honours, including a research component such as a thesis, research project or research methodology courses equivalent to at least 25% of one full-time academic year. Applicants must have achieved at least a credit average in the final year; or.
Applicants may also be considered if they provide evidence of appropriate academic qualifications and/or experience demonstrating sufficient knowledge of the proposed field or a related field, along with the research potential required to undertake the program.
You must submit a substantive research proposal of 2–5 pages outlining the intent, significance and originality of your proposed research topic. The proposal should include the title/topic, research questions and relevant existing literature, significance and potential impact, research methodology and tasks, and any specific requirements such as resources, facilities, fieldwork or equipment needed to undertake the research.
IELTS (Academic): minimum overall band of 6.5 (with no individual band below 6.0)
TOEFL (Internet Based Test - IBT) for Australia: minimum overall score of 79 (with minimum of 13 in Reading, 12 in Listening, 18 in Speaking and 21 in Writing)
Australian citizens, Australian permanent residents and New Zealand citizens may be eligible for a Research Training Scheme (RTS) place, under which the Commonwealth Government funds their tuition costs and provides a full exemption from tuition fees.
