The Graduate Program in Biomedical Engineering at UFPE promotes synergy between engineers, health professionals and scientists to investigate various issues related to the functions of the human body and its pathology, developing new technologies to improve human health. It is an interdisciplinary program in which the various techniques of engineering, biology, computing, medicine and applied science are applied in an innovative way, promoting new strategies to increase the quality of human health through the development of sensors and biomedical systems.
