The conception of the Professional Masters Course in Health Management and Economics at UFPE arose from the creation of the Integrated Group of Studies and Research in Health Economics - GIEPES, recognized by the institution and registered in the Research Group of Brazil, at CNPq. Under the leadership of Professor Tatiane Menezes and Professor Maira Galdino, the objective of GIEPES is to contribute to promoting access, quality, comprehensiveness and health care in an equitable and universal perspective.
