Program Overview

The development of sustainable agroecosystems with agroecological bases has been a central focus of actions and partnerships between UFV research groups and their collaborators. These agro-ecosystems seek to enhance the use of biodiversity, sovereignty and food and nutritional security, the health and well-being of farmers ' families , production for self-consumption and the preservation of environmental resources, such as soil and water.
