Graduate Program in Chemistry

The Graduate Program in Chemistry at the Federal University of Pernambuco was created in 1989 as part of the then recently founded Department of Fundamental Chemistry. When emerging from the group of Atomic and Molecular Physics of the Department of Physics at UFPE in 1982, DQF already had an interdisciplinary vocation with countless professors working at the interface between Physics and Chemistry. PPG-Qu mica maintains this tradition by forming post-graduates from different areas of Physics, Engineering and Biology.
