Graduate Program in Urban Development

The Graduate Program in Urban Development of the Federal University of Pernambuco has been in operation for 40 years and is the only one in the North / Northeast in the area of Urban Planning. It contributes to the qualification of technical staff and teachers from public and private universities, both in terms of teaching and in the development of research, with special emphasis on the areas of management of the conservation of urban cultural heritage, studies of sustainable urban development and peri-urban areas, landscape and public spaces assessment, history and theory of urban practices in cities, advanced studies of housing, entrepreneurship, legal instruments of urban planning, popular participation and the morphology of modernist architecture.
