The Master's degree in Financial Engineering trains highly qualified specialists in this field who are able to apply sophisticated mathematical tools to the problems of financial engineering and innovation in various financial institutions and government agencies. Graduates can earn the Professional Risk Manager (PRM) designation by passing the Professional Risk Manager's International Association (PRMIA) exams. This MSc combines training in mathematics, statistics and numeracy with modern finance and econometrics. It will enable you to apply stochastic calculus, numerical methods and simulation techniques to the problems of derivatives design, measurement, management and control of financial risks. You will have sufficient mastery of econometrics to develop models for forecasting, analyzing and covering risks. You will also be able to implement contingent quota valuation models, solve them numerically, test them and implement them.
