The Department of Indigenous Studies seeks to provide an intellectual milieu where teaching and research are well grounded in the priorities and knowledge of Saskatchewan s Aboriginal communities, all the while placing them within the larger fabric of the Canadian Aboriginal experience and the emergent global, social phenomenon of indigeneity.

B.A. Honours degree in Indigenous Studies or equivalent. Students from allied social science or humanities areas, or from other fields where there has been a focus on Native peoples, will also be considered, A cumulative weighted average of at least 70% (U of S grade system equivalent) in the last two years of study (e.g. 60 credit units), Official transcripts, A writing sample, A two page proposal, Three references, TOEFL Scores: Overall scores of 86 with minimum scores of 19 in each area, IELTS scores: Overall score of 6.5 with no score below 6.0 in each area, PTE scores: Overall score of 63 with minimum scores of 59 in each area
