Program Overview

The Master of Engineering Science (MESc) program is a thesis based Master's research degree. This program is offered to applicants who hold a four-year Bachelors Degree. It is expected that graduate students will complete all program requirements within two years. Civil and Environmental Engineers are responsible for the infrastructure that provides clean water to drink, clean air to breath, and safe buildings to live and work in. We design facilities to provide flood protection, generate and transmit energy, transport goods and people by air, rail, or roadways, and treat and dispose of waste products that would otherwise threaten our health and well-being.

Additional Information & Requirements

Admission average is the North American A- (78%), Applicant should have a Bachelors degree in Engineering, or similar program, a faculty advisor, TOEFL ibT of 86 with no individual score below 20, IELTS of 6 out of 9, MELAB of 85 with at least 80 on each of the sections , CAEL of 60, Western English Language Centre- successful completion of the High-Advanced level, CultureWorks- successful completion of the High-Advanced level, Fanshawe College s ESL Program- graduation from Level 5, Advanced Academic Preparation, with a minimum 80% in all components
