Program Overview

The MEng in Environmental Engineering offers a rich learning environment where you will design and implement water, wastewater and air treatment facilities, as well as waste management technologies. Through coursework that covers the theoretical background and technological solutions of modern environmental engineering, students will gain a deeper understanding of environmental problems and regulations from both national and global perspectives. Since Concordia houses the local secretariat of the United Nation s program for global sustainability, the students are trained to be at the forefront of sustainable development practices.

A bachelor's degree in engineering or the sciences (chemistry, biology, environmental sciences, geography, microbiology and urban studies) or equivalent with an above average standing, CV, Three Letters of Reference and assessment form, Statement of purpose, Transcripts (with mark sheets if applicable) for all post-secondary institutions attended, TOEFL ibT of 85 with at least a score of 20 in each of the four components, IELTS of 6.5, PTE of 57 or higher and no part under 53, CAEL of 70, CAE/ CPE of 180
