Program Overview

This program, which covers the major periods of literature in Spanish, from the Middle Ages to today, will allow you to deepen your knowledge on cultural studies, pragmatics, semiotics, new media or cinema. You can choose from the following disciplines: literary history, rhetoric, discourse analysis as well as comparative and transdisciplinary studies. The program will enable you to familiarize yourself with research methodologies relevant to literary studies and to develop a critical perspective. You will need to situate the topic chosen for your dissertation within the set of Hispanic literature. Throughout your journey, a teacher will guide you in the development of your critical and global thinking of the field, in connection with your field of study.

Additional Information & Requirements

A bachelor's degree in Hispanic Studies with at least 30 credits in Spanish-speaking literature and civilization from Latin America, or a degree deemed equivalent, minimum average of 3 out of 4.33, French and English language skills, TFI test scores
