Program Overview

The M.Sc. and Ph.D. programs in Health Sciences are thesis-based graduate programs for students performing research within any of the clinical departments in the College of Medicine or the School of Physical Therapy. Research projects will primarily investigate translational and/or clinical aspects of human disease, health, and healthy living and may also include biomedical research projects with clinical translation.

A four-year degree, or equivalent, from a recognized college or university in an academic discipline relevant to the proposed field of study, OR A three-year first cycle undergraduate degree, in an academic discipline relevant to the proposed field of study, from an institution that meets the criteria set forth in the Bologna Declaration, A cumulative weighted average of at least 70% (U of S grade system equivalent) in the last two years of study (e.g. 60 credit units), Applicant CV, Statement of Intent, External References, Supervisor CV, Supervisor Letter of Support, Supervisor Statement of Financial Support, Official transcripts, TOEFL Scores: Overall scores of 86 with minimum scores of 19 in each area, IELTS scores: Overall score of 6.5 with no score below 6.0 in each area, PTE scores: Overall score of 63 with minimum scores of 59 in each area
