Pathology : Independent work under the general direction of a full-time staff member on research leading to a comprehensive report. Candidates with insufficient background in one of the biomedical sciences will be required to take specific courses to remedy the deficiency. These and additional courses that are relevant to the student's area of research will be chosen in consultation with the research director and Graduate Students Committee.
