Program Overview

The Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) degree is awarded upon successful completion of a 2-year curriculum which includes 60 weeks of classroom/laboratory work and 30 weeks of clinical experience. The Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) program prepares students for professional roles as clinicians, educators, consultants and researchers in a wide variety of practice settings (e.g., acute care, rehabilitation clinics, community settings) and is accredited by Physiotherapy Education Accreditation Canada (PEAC).

Additional Information & Requirements

Four year bachelor's degree from a recognized university (minimum four academic years in length.), TOEFL ibT of 109 with a minimum of 23 on the speaking component and no other section score below 20, IELTS of 8 out of 9, MELAB of 80 on each of the sections and an overall score of at least 85 , CAEL of 60, Western English Language Centre- successful completion of the High-Advanced level, CultureWorks- successful completion of the High-Advanced level, Fanshawe College s ESL Program- graduation from Level 5, Advanced Academic Preparation, with a minimum 80% in all components
