A master s degree in the field of Biochemistry furthers the study of chemical processes that relate to living organisms, and is a diverse and fascinating discipline. Studies consist of learning more about the chemical reactions and combinations that take place in the body for metabolism, growth, heredity, production, and more. You will also further your education in relation to the functions of fats, enzymes, carbohydrates, proteins, and the molecular basis of genes. During your studies, you will work with living organisms such as yeasts, bacteria, plants, and cell cultures. You will plan and perform experiments, as well as learn how to interpret their results, which will help prepare you for the modern science laboratory.
