Program Overview

Biology is at the heart of the main problems that the societies of tomorrow will have to face and solve: climate change, biodiversity conservation, natural resource management, biotechnology development, etc. You will be trained to conduct cutting-edge research using a multidisciplinary approach to help address these many challenges. This program will allow you to acquire specialized knowledge and to master a research methodology in one or the other fields and fields of study and research. The research activities are carried out in collaboration with various organizations outside the Department of Biology: other departments or centers of Universit Laval as well as research centers or ministries in Quebec or Canada, some of whose members are associate professors in Universit Laval and authorized to co-direct theses and dissertations.

The Bachelor of Science, Applied Science, Health Sciences, or equivalent degree, a cycle average equivalent to 2.67 or more out of 4.33 for all of his undergraduate studies, three reports of appreciation from professors who have taught him or from others who can judge his / her ability to successfully complete a graduate program, French and English language skills, TFI test scores
