The Department of Plant Sciences presents a truly unique experience to students by offering research-based M.Sc.and Ph.D. programs in agronomy, crop science, horticultural science, plant ecology or rangeland studies in one department. We are the only plant sciences department in Canada capable of offering such a well-rounded experience in plant studies.

Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) or Bachelor of Science in Agriculture (B.S.A.) from a university of acceptable standing, A minimum Cumulative Weighted Average of 70% (U of S grade system equivalent) for the last two years of undergraduate study (e.g. 60 credit units), 3 letters of recommendation, Official transcripts, CV, A statement of purpose, TOEFL Scores: Overall scores of 86 with minimum scores of 19 in each area, IELTS scores: Overall score of 6.5 with no score below 6.0 in each area, PTE scores: Overall score of 63 with minimum scores of 59
