Home to the National Centre for Audiology and the H.A. Leeper Speech and Hearing Clinic, the School of Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD) educates students in the professions of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology. Audiologists and speech-language pathologists work with people who have impairments, disabilities and handicaps. They investigate the symptoms, causes, and treatments of these impairments, disabilities and handicaps. They also conduct research into swallowing and communication.

Four-year undergraduate degree from a recognized university, Prerequisite courses and volunteer experience, criminal records check or VSS (vulnerable sector screening), TOEFL ibT of 105 , IELTS of 8 out of 9, MELAB of 88 with at least 80 on each of the sections , CAEL of 60, Western English Language Centre- successful completion of the High-Advanced level, CultureWorks- successful completion of the High-Advanced level, Fanshawe College s ESL Program- graduation from Level 5, Advanced Academic Preparation, with a minimum 80% in all components
