This is an intensive, studio-based program offering artists the opportunity to develop a practical and theoretical understanding of their art practice in the context of a challenging and supportive faculty of studio artists, art historians and art educators. Students may specialize in the areas of painting, drawing, printmaking, sculpture, photography and inter-media.
A four-year honours degree, or equivalent, from a recognized college or university in an academic discipline relevant to the proposed field of study, A cumulative weighted average of at least 70% (U of S grade system equivalent) in the last two years of study (e.g. 60 credit units), Official transcripts, Statement of intent (a 1-2 page statement about your artistic work and what you are interested in exploring during your graduate studies), A Curriculum Vitae (CV) including a brief written description of previous relevant course work, grades, employment, and relevant training and life experience, Portfolio of 20 images combined as one document, including a list that provides information about each image (media, size, title, and the year the work was done), TOEFL Scores: Overall scores of 86 with minimum scores of 19 in each area, IELTS scores: Overall score of 6.5 with no score below 6.0 in each area, PTE scores: Overall score of 63 with minimum scores of 59
