Program Overview

The Master in Management and Public Policies (MGPP) of the University of Chile is a pioneering program and a benchmark in the region in the training of professionals who have the knowledge,competences and skills to lead the processes of diagnosis,understanding,resolution and prioritization of public problems,linking knowledge with the needs of the countries and safeguarding the criteria of efficiency,effectiveness,impact and citizen legitimacy of public actions.The multidisciplinary approach and the incorporation of management in the academic proposal of the MGPP,allow our graduates to stand out for their analytical solvency,for their systemic outlook,for their ability to understand and address complex public problems and to design,implement and evaluate alternatives for public policy solutions. Our graduates also differentiate themselves by their use of the tools necessary to implement courses of action in different fields and by their abilities to lead the processes of improvement and innovation in the management of programs and public policies.
