Program Overview

The graduate of the program will be able to develop,in an autonomous and reflective way,scientific research contextualized to problems relevant to educational praxis,contributing knowledge and promoting processes of change related to the fields of development,teaching and learning,and to psychosocial and organizational cultural practices of educational institutions from the interdisciplinary approach of Educational Psychology.The purpose of the Program is for graduates to be able to:Understand and analyze the complexity of relationships within school communities,where the senses of the development,teaching and learning processes emerge.Develop research processes,integrated into the research lines of the Program,that allow answering questions about psycho-socio-cultural problems or phenomena associated with different educational contexts.Systematize,disseminate and communicate the knowledge of the discipline in scientific and academic contexts.Develop an ethical,reflective and critical professional practice,considering the political,socio-historical and cultural context,and the scope of their own practice.
