MS Geology

This Program is intended to train graduates with the ability to perform creatively in research and in the professional field. An essential aspect of the Program is the preparation of a thesis that must constitute an original contribution,through the application of methodologies or the generation of scientific knowledge for the resolution of a specific problem in the field of geological sciences. The thesis work is carried out under the tutelage of a professor from the Faculty of the Program.Graduates of the Program can work in public and private companies in the field of mining,energy and natural resources in general,civil works,scientific research,university teaching,public services,territorial planning and interdisciplinary work groups that address aspects related to the geological problem solving.
