Program Overview

"The Master in Dental Sciences program includes the fulfillment of a set of curricular activities established at the time of entering the program with a total of 90 credits (one credit is equivalent to a total student dedication of 27 chronological hours),which will correspond to a compulsory course (9 credits),two elective courses,or one elective course and one general training course (5 credits each),one research unit (9 credits),Research Project (9 credits) and thesis preparation (53 credits),which constitutes the central activity of the program. The teaching curricular activities will be evaluated on a scale of grades from 1 to 7,with a minimum passing grade of 4.0 (four); the thesis project,research units and theses will be evaluated on a dichotomous scale, as ""approved"" or ""failed"",with a cut-off point equivalent to 60%. To pass the final grade exam,prior approval of all other curricular activities will be required."
