Program Overview

The Pharmacology Master's Program is a Mixed Program with an academic or professional nature. The Master is oriented to the knowledge of the interaction of chemical products or drugs with biological systems,identifying the targets of therapeutic actions as molecular mechanisms,with both beneficial effects and those collaterals responsible for adverse health events.The Master in Pharmacology is aimed at graduates and university professionals,Chilean or foreign from the biomedical area (Doctors,Pharmaceutical Chemists,Biochemists,among others) or equivalent training who have basic knowledge of pharmacology at the undergraduate level. The design of the curricular mesh is prepared in conjunction with the Academic Tutor of the Program according to the interests and needs of the candidate's academic or professional training. Once the school term is over,the graduation activity is a thesis or equivalent training activity (AFE).Obtaining the academic degree allows performance in the academic area as a scientific researcher,a professional in the pharmaceutical industry,clinical services,a consultant to state or private entities on issues related to the pharmaceutical and public health area.
