Program Overview

The main objective of the Master's Program in Archeology is to promote in its graduates the critical and integrative reflection of knowledge about the past of humanity,studying its various social,cultural and biological phenomena from the archaeological perspective.To train graduates capable of reflectively approaching the cultural diversity of the prehistoric past both nationally and continentally.Provide an updated theoretical and methodological platform in archeology that at the same time allows graduates to establish interdisciplinary links with other fields of knowledge.Enable their graduates to participate in the discussion and construction of a contingent theme at the national level,such as cultural heritage.Train graduates capable of contributing to knowledge of the past through systematic and creative research,demonstrating originality in the application of knowledge.Students who graduate from the Master's Program in Archeology will be able to contribute to deepening knowledge about the past of humanity as well as to actively participate in the patrimonial and social problems of the country,both prehistoric and historical. These competences will allow them to function as specialists and researchers in highly demanding universities,research centers and state and private organizations.
