The Master in Economics,which is accredited until 2020 by the National Accreditation Commission,guides the student in the development of excellent research skills in various areas of the economy. Our graduates are trained to join universities,research centers,public and private institutions as academics and researchers of the highest level.Our purpose is to contribute to the training of high-level economists who correctly apply economic fundamentals in the exercise of their professional careers in selected fields of specialization,by providing the necessary tools and conceptual foundations.The completion of the Master of Economics academically prepares those who have aspirations to carry out Doctorate programs in the most prestigious universities in the United States and Europe,as is the case with many of our graduates.In the past three years,our graduates have been accepted into doctoral programs at the University of Chicago,Pennsylvannia State University,Nortwestern University,New York University,University of Maryland,and Princeton University,among others.
