Artificial Intelligence provides education in the field of theoretical and applied knowledge for the design of intelligent systems in various areas of life, from data analysis to automatic task solving to robotic applications. Emphasis is placed on the coherence between deep understanding of rigorous formal fundamentals and their practical application. Students will acquire knowledge about design of effective data structures, formal problem modeling and knowledge by mathematical logic and probability theory, algorithms (both classical and nature inspired) for solving problems, autonomous agent control, machine learning and data mining and analysis of computational complexity .
