Program Overview

The Applied Informatics study program prepares future graduates to be able to design, develop and manage intelligent and information systems. The program is divided into two specializations: Artificial Intelligence and Information Systems. The student will acquire a good theoretical foundation in the field of theoretical informatics, logic, computability and complexity of algorithms. During the course of the entire course, emphasis is placed on teamwork, the basics of project management and the ability to do independent scientific work. The area of obtaining information and knowledge from data with an emphasis on its security or encryption is not left out either. Knowledge and skills in data analysis and creation of computer models are also an integral part. Students apply the acquired knowledge and skills in a team during year projects and term papers
