Program Overview

The field of study is a follow-up master's program designed primarily for primary and secondary school history teachers. At the same time, it prepares graduates for possible employment in professional historical workplaces (Institutes of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic, archives, museums). It is focused on the extension of professional historical knowledge acquired in the bachelor study program, specialized disciplines, which include, on the one hand, discipline disciplines (historiography, specialization seminars, historical reflection, extending courses in auxiliary historical sciences), on the other hand, subject didactics.

A completed Bachelor s degree , an official transcript of records from your previous university studies, an official translation of the two above into Czech (translation is not required if the original documents were issued in English), a certificate of equivalence from Czech educational authorities which states that your certificate/diploma is recognised in the Czech Republic (called nostrification ), if you completed your previous education abroad, TOEFL ibT of 80, IELTS of 6.5, IB English 6, Melab 77, TOEIC 605
