Masters in Teaching German language for elementary schools

The output profile of the graduates of the master's study reflects the special pedagogical and methodological focus of the two-year study. It follows that the study program is primarily focused on building and developing pedagogical competences and the further development of linguistic communicative competence. After completing the course, the student will be able to: demonstrate high-quality didactic knowledge and skills with a focus on teaching the German language, demonstrate high-quality theoretical knowledge of special linguistic disciplines, demonstrate knowledge of contemporary German literature as well as literature for children and youth based on their own detailed study and analysis of selected segments of the literature as well as on the study of a wide range of relevant secondary literature, demonstrate language skills.
